As a company with a deep-rooted sense of social responsibility, Tickmill sponsored school supplies for deprived students in vulnerable areas of Mexico.

We are pleased to support the efforts of the “Keeping Kids in School” project, for the second time this year, in delivering necessary school supplies to schools in Playa del Carmen and Cristo Rey. With this move, more than two thousand children received their school kits, which were tailored to their individual needs, on their return to school.

Why does Education Matter?

Supporting education for children is more important than ever nowadays. Education has the power to change the world for the better by fostering critical thinking and promoting cross-cultural understanding. Tickmill is proud to be part of this ambitious project that allows deprived children to stay in school, hoping to help improve literacy levels and graduation rates.

The Group Chief Marketing Officer, Marilena Iakovou commented: “We are thrilled to see our endevours to make education accessible to disadvantaged children paying off. It is great to contribute to the students’ personal growth while helping their families come out of the cycle of poverty.
